Zelda Breath of the Wild: video shows PC multiplayer mod in development

Modders Alex Mangue, Sweet and Ethi are working on a mod for The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild that allows, on PC, multiplayer gaming. You can see a video of the preliminary version of said mod above.

The project was anticipated by Mangue last November and, now, it shows us how it should work. Players will be able to be in the same game, fighting and collecting items, which will be duplicated for each player. There are currently some movement synchronization issues, but overall The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild multiplayer mod works.

The creator of this mod says that he is still working on synchronizing enemy life points, which is inaccurate for now, so that players can fight the same enemies together without any problems.

This multiplayer mod is still in the early stages of development and there’s no planned release date, but fans of The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild playing on PC should take a look at the project and wait for news.

Still speaking of mods, here’s The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild in an 8K and ray traced video.
