Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires, the review of the strategic musou of Koei Tecmo

After the open world experiment, the ninth installment of Koei Tecmo’s musou series returns in its strategic variant: the review of Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires

The review of Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires takes us once again to Imperial China, under the command of the legendary leaders who tried to unify the country and whose exploits have been told, in an appropriately fictional way, in the famous Novel of the Three Kingdoms.

In this case we are faced with the now traditional strategic version of the game, which does not focus on the inevitable one-on-one battles that have always characterized the series of musou, but adds to the mix elements of management, diplomacy and tactics that are going to turn the experience into a curious hybrid whose potential, however, still remains largely unexpressed.
